THAILAND FACTS 

Hey guys starting from Today I am spending two weeks at my Nana's house because my mum is going to Thailand to look after her Aunty who is really ill at the moment. So I have decided that I would share some facts I have learned about Thailand with you. 

Now I am going to tell you some facts about Thailand. Did you know the distance between New Zealand which is where I am from and Thailand is 9,857km away that is so long. And the flight is a 12 hour flight I am telling you now I would definitely be jet lagged. Also Bhumibol Adulyadej is the king of Thailand. 

Now I am going to tell you about the time difference between New Zealand and Thailand. New Zealand is 5:0 hours ahead of Bangkok Thailand that means if it is 9:00 am in Bangkok it is 2:00pm in New Zealand. That is so fascinating!

This is the next topic to my fantastic facts about Thailand. The Thailand flag here is a picture if you don't know what it looks like. Here is a question most people in Thailand ask Why is the Thailand flag red white and blue? Well here is the answer The Thailand flag was officially adopted on September 28, 1917. Red is said to symbolize the blood of life, white the purity of the Buddhist faith, and blue the monarchy. The blue and white stripes were added to the flag during World War I.

 

Well It is coming to an end of the Thailand facts I hoped you enjoyed it and learnt something about Thailand. So that maybe one day when you go to Thailand you can be the smartest one because you will know all this knowledge. 

Ishaes First Day at School

My step brother first day at school

This  week was my step brothers first week of school. On Monday 25 April he turned 5 years old.

On Monday 25 April my step brother Ishae was turning 5 years old he spent the day at his mums house on his birthday.

Next on Wednesday we went to the Swanson RSA to have a family dinner to celebrate Ishae's birthday everybody was there.

On Saturday we had a birthday party for Ishae we had his birthday party at Chipmunks. we went to the Chipmunks in Mount Roskill area. 

Ishae's birthday cake was a spiderman cake it was very delicious.The cake was a chocolate cake with white chocolate icing and a picture of spiderman. 

Then on Monday I got ready for School then I helped my step brother get ready. He is going to Swanson Primary School. 

After that I took some photos of my step Brother Ishae and my sister Sydney and my Other step sister Egypt. 

when i dropped my step brother off for school i was so proud that my brother was going to school.I can't wait for the years ahead for my little brother Ishae Coult and I hope he gets a good education just like I am

 

Athletics Day

Athletics Day Report by : Annalise

Don Buck School every year at the end of term one has their Athletics Day to give students the opportunity to show their skills.

Before Athletics Day don buck school practices each sport so that on the day they know what to do.As the teachers watch the students to see if they are doing it safely and correctly for example on high jump you have to have a run up then jump right in front of the mat.

Don Buck School Students are put in houses. The houses are Hillary the yellow house Blake the blue house Apiata the red house and Batten the greenhouse..on Athletics Day  Students are asked to bring a piece of clothing to support their house.

Some of the activity's at Athletics are high jump,long jump,sprints,long distance,relays,hammer throws, and softball throws.

Athletics Day at Don Buck School is a very competitive fun day. in 2017 Athletics  day will be the best one ever.

THE BEST EASTER HOLIDAYS EVER

Easter with my Family 

on Friday,Saturday,Sunday and Monday I celebrated Easter with my family 

But on Friday and Saturday I went over to stay the night at my grandmas house.I got Easter Eggs from my cousins Auntie and uncles and my Grandma. I got an enormous egg from my Daddy  . i had  small eggs big eggs and  medium eggs and even heart shaped ones

When i went to my mums house on Sunday i ate most of my Easter eggs i felt a little bit green but i felt better after i had some medication..Mum  got me a big Easter egg 

with little ones inside  it was delicious. I even made my own Easter eggs


That's why I loved Easter 2016 .so much and I loved eating the eggs and i can't wait for next Easter mums taking me to the Easter Show. and i  the best part was having some time to  hang out with my Family.
